A 31-member Taliban delegation has reached Qatar to sign a historic agreement with the world's most powerful US. Both the US and the Taliban will sign the peace deal today in the presence of US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. The agreement would end the longest American war. Explain that the peace agreement between the two sides will be signed in Doha, the capital of Qatar. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump has said that today the United States and the Taliban will sign a historic agreement to bring lasting peace to war-torn Afghanistan. Trump has further stated in his statement that soon on my instruction, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will sign the deal with Taliban representatives. He said that Defense Secretary Mark Opor will issue a joint declaration with the Government of Afghanistan. The President said that if the Taliban and the Afghan government live up to these commitments, it would pave the way for ending the war in Afghanistan and returning its troops to America.
