US Senator Scott Perry, who returned from Jammu and Kashmir, once again strongly supported the decision of the Government of India on the repeal of Article 370. Perry says that the removal of Article 370 will bring stability in Jammu and Kashmir. This will strengthen the economy here, which will provide employment to the youth. In a statement in the US House of Representatives, Perry said that Jammu stands with India in the hope of providing equal opportunities in the economic, social and political arena for the citizens of Kashmir.

According to the media report, Perry strongly supports the decision of the Government of India to repeal Article 370 of the Constitution. He said that this step will help the government to overcome the unemployment of youth in Jammu and Kashmir along with economic development. Apart from Perry, five other Congressmen have also supported the Indian government's stand on Kashmir. It stars Joe Wilson, Pete Olson, Paul Gosar, George Holding and Francis Rooney of the Republican Party. These Congressmen had also given their support to the Government of India's move on the removal of Article 370 in the past.

In his statement, Perry said that last year the Indian Parliament voted to change the situation in Jammu and Kashmir. Two-thirds of the members voted in favor of removing Article 370. He said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have been struggling with economic depression and extremism-radicalism for a long time. This step of the Government of India will bring regional stability in the state. He hoped to provide a better way and hope for the future.
