New Delhi: Former US top diplomat Richard Verma has said that By 2030, India will probably lead in all sectors. He said the world's two largest democracies (India and the US) can do a lot together. Verma said, "If I talk about 2030, I see India, for example, leading almost all regions of the world.''

He further said that with the largest population, the highest number of graduates, a large number of middle-class, a large number of mobile phone and internet users, the third largest army, and the third-largest economy, 600 million people under the age of 25 will all be together in the world's largest democracy. Richard Verma said that today, India is growing on a large scale in front of our eyes. About $2,000 billion will be spent on infrastructure development over the next decade.

He said most of the infrastructure required for 2030 is yet to be constructed. That is why about 100 new airports are being planned or constructed today. Addressing the Jindal University School of Banking and Finance, a former US diplomat in India said India's young students are the youngest workforce in Asia. On 'Driving Shared Prosperity: 21st Century Priority for US-India Relations,' Verma said, "You can take advantage of it by 2050. It's quite formidable.''
