Washington: The US government has instructed all the states to be ready to distribute the Coronavirus vaccine from November 1. Robert Redfield, director of the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, said in a letter to state governors on August 27 that "Soon we will get a letter of approval from the McKesson Corporation, which has approved vaccines in many places, including state local health departments and hospitals." It is tied up with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) for distribution.

Redfield wrote that "The CDC urges your cooperation in speeding up the delivery of these vaccines. You are requested to make necessary arrangements to fully operate these centres by November 1, 2020, if needed. Initial results of the use of the coronavirus vaccine did not reveal any safety-related problems, as well as it enhanced the immune system's expected response. New England Journal of Medicine was given information in this regard quoting the researchers".

The US government provided $ 1.6 billion in aid to the development of the vaccine to the Novavex company based in Gaithersburg, Maryland. This vaccine is given in the form of two shots at a difference of three weeks. It contains protein derived from the coronavirus which encourages the immune system to produce antibodies to fight infection.
