American playwright and activist Larry Kramer died at the age of 84. Kramer was nominated for an Oscar in 1969 for the screenplay of Woman in Love. He has earned a reputation as a fighter for the rights of homosexuals and an AIDS activist.

According to the report, Larry Kramer was HIV positive since 1988. He had pneumonia. Kramer is considered one of the most important as a worker. In 1978 he wrote the novel 'Fagots' which has been quite disputed.

For your information, let us tell you that Kramer, who lived in Manhattan for decades, co-founded Gay Men's Health Crisis in 1981, which was then called 'Gay Cancer'. He left the group in 1983. He started the protest organization ACT UP, AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power in 1987 to end the AIDS epidemic. This group forcibly advocated the sick and paved the way for final treatment.
