New Delhi: The Indian and US forces are currently conducting joint exercises in the US military base LEWIS McCHORD. This exercise has started from 5 September, which will continue till 18 September. This is the largest military exercise between India and America and it is held in the US one year, in India the second year. In a video released during the exercise, soldiers from both the countries were seen shrieking on the marching song of the Assam Regiment 'Badluram Ka Badan.'

In the video released by the news agency ANI, the soldiers of India and America clapping together sing "Badaluram's body is under the ground ... but we get his ration" at McCHORD,  There is also an interesting story behind this song. This song is the Regimental Song of Assam Regiment. Which is based on a young 'Badlu-Ram' of Assam Regiment. Badlu-Ram was part of the Assam Regiment during World War II. It was during World War II that the 'Battle of Kohima' took place in 1944, in which there was a war between India and Japan. Badlu-Ram was martyred in this war.

Badlu-Ram is remembered for his martyrdom, but even after being martyred, he saved his life and recorded his name in history. Because even after the martyrdom of Badlu-Ram, the logistics manager of his regiment continued to take the ration of Badluram's name. This sequence continued for a few months. When the Japanese army surrounded the Indian Army squad and the ration stopped coming. At that time, the ration was deposited in the name of Badlu Ram, the service of soldiers came and many soldiers were saved. Just on this incident, a military officer wrote the song and today in every ceremony, that favor of Badlu Ram is sung.
