This Friday two most awaited movies Ponniyin Selvan and Vikram Vedha clashed on Box office. Meanwhile amid the box office clash the actors and director of both films are showering their love on each other. PS 1 actor Jayam Ravi took to his social media and showered his love for Vikram Vedha.

Jayam Ravvi was recently seen in Ponniyin Selvan wrote, "Hearing great reviews about #VikramVedha Hindi version and I’m not surprised as the Tamil version was a knockout @PushkarGayatri. A big congratz to @iHrithik & #SaifAliKhan for the success. Hugs and wishes to my bro @sash041075 for the double whammy (red heart emoji)." Pushkar and Gayatri replied, "Thanks a ton Ravi! @actor_jayamravi. And a big big cheers to you, Mani Sir and the whole team! You are rocking!! #PonniyinSelvan1."

Speaking of  Vikram Vedha, It stars Hrithik Roshan and  Saif Ali Khan. The film also stars Radhika Apte, Rohit Saraf, Yogita Bihani, and Sharib Hashmi. Directed by Pushkar-Gayatri, Vikram Vedha is the Hindi remake of their 2017 Tamil film of the same name. It is a remake, the original film which starred R Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi was a massive hit. Filmmaker duo Pushkar and Gayatri, who directed the original too. Meanwhile, the movie in terms of advance booking lagged behind Laal Singh Chaddha and Shamshera.

Speaking of 'Ponniyin Selvan: I' is the first part of a two-part franchise that has been shot on a massive budget of 500 crore rupees.  Based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s popular novel on the life of Raja Raja Chozhan,  Ponniyin Selvan: Part One has a screenplay written by Mani Ratnam, Jeyamohan and Kumaravel. PS1 will be the first of a two-part film series. It stars South Star Vikram as Aditya Karikalan, Karthi as Vanthiyathevan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Nandini, Trisha as Kundhavai, and Jayam Ravi as Arulmozhi Varman. The magnum opus also features Ashwin Kakumanu, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Vikram Prabhu, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Parthiban, Rahman, Lal, Jayachitra, Riyaz Khan among others in pivotal roles
