Godfather is one of the most awaited movies of the year, the film stars south actor Chiranjeevi. This movie also has the powerful role of Salman Khan. Recently the poster of South Sensation Nayanthara from the film was released and song from the movie was released. The actors are leaving no stone unturned for promoting the movie. Chiranjeevi’s GodFather, and Akkineni Nagarjuna’s The Ghost is set to release on October 5. Ahead of the box office clash of their respective films, Chiranjeevi has said that he doesn’t see Nagarjuna as competition and that each of their films are unique

Chiranjeevi during a promotional interview said, “There is no competition with Nagarjuna. Both the films are unique and we are trying to showcase our talent in it and prove ourselves.” Meanwhile earlier Nagarjuna also wished Chiranjeevi for Godfather as he said, “My dear friend Chiranjeevi’s GodFather is also releasing on the October 5 along with The Ghost. I hope both the films become a big hit at the box office.”

GodFather is an official Telugu remake of the Malayalam movie Lucifer, starring Mohanlal in the lead. Apart from Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan, the cast of the film includes Lady Superstar Nayanthara, director Puri Jagannadh and Satya Dev in significant roles, apart from others.  Helmed by Mohan Raja. The movie will see Chiranjeevi in an out-and-out action avatar. Although it is a remake, the producers have pledged to create a storyline that portray exactly the way his fans want him to be seen on the big screen.
