Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Telugu cinema superstar Chiranjeevi took to social media on Wednesday to congratulate Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan on his appointment as Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. Pawan Kalyan was sworn in as a minister in Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu's cabinet.

Shah expressed his confidence in the NDA government's ability to bring prosperity to Andhra Pradesh. Chiranjeevi also extended his wishes to Pawan Kalyan and the new cabinet. "Best wishes to Deputy CM @PawanKalyan Konidala Pawan Kalyan and the rest of the cabinet," he said. Chiranjeevi expressed hope and confidence that the cabinet would utilize the opportunity for the all-round development of Andhra Pradesh.
