Kolkata: There is only some time left for the assembly elections in West Bengal and the political temperature of the state is constantly increasing. Today, two political leaders will be face to face in Bengal. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee will be in South 24 Parganas district today. The two leaders will be involved in political programs here at different times.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reached Bengal last evening and will attend many programs on Thursday. He will first stay at the Bharat Seva Ashram on Thursday morning, after which he will also flag off the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Parivartan Yatra in Namkhana. Shah's roadshow is to be held here late in the evening. He will take lunch at the house of a Hindu refugee in Namkhana of South 24 Parganas on this tour. After Amit Shah's last visit to Bengal, the issue related to the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) has once again become hot. The BJP has now come into active mode to give it an edge.

The state's CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee will also be in the same district on Thursday. She will address the rally in Diamond Harbor Assembly today. This area belongs to Mamata's nephew Abhishek Banerjee.
