New Delhi: The incessant violence in India's capital Delhi has taken a formidable form today. Home Minister Amit Shah held an all-party meeting on Tuesday, 25 February 2020 where in this Delhi's CM Arvind Kejriwal was also involved. On Monday night, he had a meeting with the officials. Keeping this in mind, he has also instructed Delhi Police to activate local peace committees and involve people of all religions and classes in it. The leaders have been asked to avoid making inflammatory statements and the general public should stay away from rumors.

Appealed to all parties to restore peace by forgetting political differences: According to the information, Home Minister strongly condemned the violence in Delhi and appealed to all parties to make a united effort to restore peace by forgetting political differences. It is also being said that all parties are requested to send their MPs, MLAs, Counselors and supporters among the general public so that they can work together with senior police officers in the affected areas to dispel the atmosphere of fear and rumor. He directed the Delhi Police Commissioner to activate peace committees and start the process of dialogue with the public.

Senior officials of the Home Ministry were present.
