Bhubaneswar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has predicted that the BJP will win the 2024 Lok Sabha elections with a two-thirds majority. At the same time, Amit Shah has also claimed to form the next government in Odisha. During this, he praised the leadership of PM Narendra Modi and attacked political parties for familyism. Assembly elections are due in the state in 2024.
The Home Minister further said 'I am confident that the BJP, under the leadership of Modi, will win the 2024 Lok Sabha elections with a two-thirds majority and no one can stop it. We are going to form the next government in Odisha also. The Home Minister also outlined Modi's journey of 30 years as a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) pracharak and 20 years as CM and PM. He said that his biggest contribution to Indian democracy is to eliminate the three evils. He talked about the politics of familyism and appeasement as well as corruption. Shah also gave the example of Uttar Pradesh. He said that people have rejected the politics of family, hence the politics of the dynasty is coming to an end.
Amit Shah further said that the credit for this goes to PM Modi, who not only eradicated three evils but also transformed them into 'politics of performance'. He said the best example of this is in Gujarat, where the party is leading in every election. He said 'At present, there is no PM face except Modi in the politics of India. Opponents will have to transform themselves, otherwise they will face repeated defeats because Modi has changed the political picture.'
