New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah held a meeting on Sunday with Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal, CM Arvind Kejriwal to discuss the situation amid concerns over the fast growing cases of global epidemic coronavirus. The meeting churned on improving the global epidemic in Delhi, availability of beds in hospitals, testing facilities and other health-related infrastructure. After the meeting, Home Minister Shah informed about the important decisions taken for the safety of the people of Delhi and to prevent infection.

Amit Shah wrote in his tweet that the Modi government is committed to prevent the Corona infection in the country's capital Delhi. Today, with Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, and Chief Minister Kejriwal and senior officials, many important decisions were taken to protect the people of Delhi and prevent this infection. He said that in view of shortage of beds for Corona infected patients in Delhi, the Modi government at the Center has decided to immediately give 500 railway coaches to Delhi. These railway coaches will not only increase 8000 beds in Delhi but this coach will be equipped with all facilities to fight the corona infection.

Amit Shah said that in order to get the contact mapping done well in Delhi's Containment Zone, a comprehensive health survey of every person will be done from house to house, whose report will come in 1 week. Also, in order to have good monitoring, the Arogya Setu app will be downloaded in every person's mobile. He said that to prevent corona infection in Delhi, the testing of corona will be increased to two fold in the next two days and after 6 days the testing will be increased to three times. Also, after a few days, testing will be started at every polling station in the Containment Zone.
