Amit Shah meets Lata Mangeshkar under the 'Contact for Support' campaign

Bharatiya Janata Party has hastened its public relations campaign before the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Under the 'Contact for Support' campaign, party President Amit Shah met Lata Mangeshkar, in Mumbai on Sunday. Amit Shah counted her the four years of achievement of the Modi government.

Under this campaign, BJP president has sought his support for the party before the Lok Sabha elections. During this, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and some other leaders were also present. Party supporters are meeting with well kno9wn celebrities for support in elections.

After meeting Amit Shah, famous singer Lata Mangeshkar also made a tweet. She wrote, "Today was a day of great joy for us. Amit Shah, the Honorable President of BJP and Chief Minister of Maharashtra Honorable Devendra Fadnavis and some senior leaders came to our house. It was great to meet and talk."

Contact Support Campaign was started on May 29. Its purpose is to reach the party to well-known people. Under the campaign, Amit Shah first met Dalbir Singh Suhag, former Chief of the Army in Gururgram. In addition to the party president in this campaign, Modi government ministers and chief ministers of the states are also meeting with celebrities.

Earlier, Amit Shah had met Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit and industrialist Ratan Tata in Mumbai. Amit Shah will meet 50 people in this initiative to tell the achievements of the government. While other BJP workers will meet at least 10 people to tell about the achievements and make them aware. Recently, Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had met Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt in Lucknow. He had sought support from the actor under the campaign.
