Kolkata: There has been a big mistake in the security of Jagat Prakash Nadda, the national president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in West Bengal. On this matter, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has instructed the officials of the Ministry to ask the Mamta government of West Bengal why and how the security lapse occurred. Bengal BJP Chief Dilip Ghosh wrote a letter to Amit Shah in this regard.
It is noteworthy that JP Nadda, who visited West Bengal, was shown black flags by TMC supporters on Wednesday. When Nadda reached Hastings area of Kolkata to inaugurate the party's election office, he was shown black flags. This incident happened outside the newly opened office. When Nadda arrived here, around 50 people tried to wave black flags and even raised slogans of 'Go back BJP' when Nadda entered the building. After this, BJP workers also came out of the building and raised slogans.
After the BJP leaders of the state came in front, the police immediately intervened and stopped both the parties from coming close. The protesters left the spot immediately after the incident. A Kolkata Police official said that "there was no untoward clash or scuffle. Both sides peacefully returned from the spot."
