New Delhi: Amit Shah, Union Home Minister,  held a review meeting on the security situation and development situation of Jammu and Kashmir in New Delhi yesterday.

The meeting was attended by Manoj Sinha, Jammu & Kashmir's lieutenant governor, Union Home Secretary, Director (IB), RAW Chief, and other high officials, according to a statement from the Home Ministry.

In the meeting, Shah went over the operation of the security grid and other security-related issues and provided the required instructions to follow the zero-tolerance policy against terrorism, according to the statement.

According to the report, the Home Minister also went over the numerous development projects being carried out in the UT and emphasised the importance of prompt project completion.

He also instructed the officials to work toward 100% beneficiary saturation under all applicable programmes and to make sure that every segment of society receives the advantages of progress.

The Union Home Minister also said, the terrorist eco-system must be destroyed since it supports and perpetuates terrorist-separatist campaigns at the expense of the welfare of the average person.
