New Delhi: Two back-to-back high-level discussions on Leh-Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir are slated for Wednesday evening, top government sources said.
The meeting on Leh-Ladakh will hold at 3.00 pm and that of Jammu & Kashmir at nearly 4 pm, the sources, close to the development said.
The Lieutenant Governors of the Union Territories of Ladakh and Jammu Kashmir will attend the meetings, which will be placed in the Ministry of Home Affairs' North Block office.
Besides the Lieutenant Governors, senior officers from the Ministry of Home Affairs and two Union Territories (UTs), and also Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla will attend the meeting.
According to reports, the sessions will cover development initiatives in both UTs, security-related challenges, and other topics.
It is also anticipated that both UTs would be counselled to take important actions in response to the Covid threat. It will alsobe advised that the UTs increase their medical supplies, buy them as needed, and spread the word to all of the village surveillance committees about the importance of being active.
