Why did BJP win Gujarat elections? Kamal Nath explained the reason

Bhopal: Former Madhya Pradesh CM and State Congress President Kamal Nath said that BJP won the recent Gujarat assembly elections because it is the home state of both PM Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, which influenced the voters of that state. BJP has registered a landslide victory in Gujarat. The BJP won 156 of the total 182 seats in the assembly, while the Congress was reduced to just 17 seats. Voting was held in two phases in Gujarat on the 1st and 5th of December and the result came on the 8th of December.

On Thursday, Kamal Nath told reporters in Chhindwara in response to a question, "Gujarat is the home state of both Modiji and Amit Shahji. It affected the voters of that state, due to which the BJP won there." When asked about Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan's announcement of the suspension of officers from the dais during his tour to various parts of the state, Kamal Nath termed it as a drama.

He said that this is drama and gimmick and nothing else. To show off, he announces the suspension of officers from the stage, but has he suspended them on paper? It may be mentioned that earlier this month, Shivraj Singh Chouhan suspended four officers on charges of dereliction of duty while addressing a program in the tribal-dominated Betul district.
