New Delhi: "If there is success and there is no opposition to it, then there is no fun in such success. That's why if you achieve success in a case, it's also natural to have some opposition to it. But my personal experience is that you are working in the right direction,"  Union Home Minister Amit Shah said while addressing the 13th National Investigation Agency Day function at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi on Thursday.

Along with Amit Shah, Ministers of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni and Nisith Pramanik were also present at the event. During this, Shah said that it is necessary to root out terrorism to protect human rights. The Home Minister further said that the NIA has created an image of itself in a short span of time. I want to assure you that we have a zero-tolerance policy against terrorism and we will provide all possible help. Whenever there are anti-terrorist campaigns, some human rights groups raise the issue of human rights, but I always believe that terrorism is the biggest cause of human rights violations.

The Home Minister said, "We are on the path of progress. You cannot leave India behind in any field for efforts to combat terrorism. The NIA has to strengthen its success and institutionalise it. We have to ensure the strong internal security of the country.'' We had a meeting with the NIA on various categories like blasts etc. If the national database is created and we make it public and add it to our data, it will help the police and all other agencies. If the data is collected and used, it is helpful otherwise it is useless.
