New Delhi: Today is the last day of the first phase of the budget session and during the discussion on Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Amendment Bill, Home Minister Amit Shah gave a statement regarding the latest state of the state in the House and also questioned the opposition. During this, he said that we have to understand the situation in Jammu and Kashmir. Taking a dig at the opposition, Shah said, 'Here it was said that what happened to the promises made at the time of the removal of Article 370? I will definitely answer that. But it has only been 17 months since the 370 was removed, have you come to terms with what you did 70 years?'

AIMIM chief Owaisi said during the debate in the house that Amit Shah had said that the full state status of Jammu and Kashmir will be restored, but the Center is ending the cadre there. After all, what is the intention of the government? Responding to this, Shah said, 'Owaisi Sahab also distributes officers among Hindus and Muslims. Can a Muslim officer not serve the Hindu people or a Hindu officer cannot serve the Muslim people? The officers are divided into Hindu-Muslim and call themselves secular.'

Talking about the latest state of Jammu and Kashmir, Shah said, 'We have given the right to the panchayats of Jammu and Kashmir, we have given the budget. Panchayats have been strengthened. Has given 21 subjects of administration to the panchayats. Putting nearly 1500 crore rupees directly into the bank account has paved the way for the development of villages in Jammu and Kashmir.'
