Mathura: Union Home Minister Amit Shah today reached Mathura, the city of Krishna, amidst the uproar in the UP Assembly. He first visited the Banke Bihari Temple. Amit Shah then addressed the BJP's programme 'Effective Voters' Dialogue'. In his address, he thanked the people of Braj and said, "I want to thank the entire people of Braj region with folded hands because whether be it the elections in 2014, 2017 or 2022, when the boxes of Braj are opened, only lotuses are seen everywhere.

 

"I have come to tell the people of the Braj region that if the change that has taken place in the country and Uttar Pradesh in seven and a half years then direct credit goes to the great people of Uttar Pradesh. The SP and BSP governments in Uttar Pradesh only ran for casteism and familyism. Run based on appeasement, corruption was dominating here. Presenting the figures, the Home Minister said, "Akhilesh Babu's rule has led to a 70% reduction in dacoity under the BJP rule. There is a 72% reduction in the robbery. There is a 29% reduction in murders. There is a 35% reduction in kidnappings. '

 

Amit Shah said, "Parshuram Park is being constructed here in the state in the name of Lord Parshuram in Uttar Pradesh. By celebrating the grand Krishna Festival in Mathura, pilgrims from all over the world came to Mathura, this tradition has been started by the BJP. Shah attacked Samajwadi Party (SP) chief Akhilesh Yadav, saying that "In Uttar Pradesh, they say that they will give free electricity". Oh, brother Akhilesh, you could not give electricity, why are you talking on air? Can anyone who can't give electricity be able to give it free of cost? The BJP government has done the work of providing free electricity connections to 1.41 crore households. '
