New Delhi: PM Modi has interacted with the chief ministers of states and union territories through video conference on Tuesday, on the coronavirus. Union Home Minister Amit Shah was also present in this meeting. Shah has asked all chief ministers to set a target at three points. He said that all CMs should try to reduce the death rate from corona by less than one percent and do not allow new cases to increase by more than five percent.
The most important step that Union Minister Shah asked all the Chief Ministers to take was to make the Containment Zone dynamic. He said that officers should visit the Red Zone every week and change the position of a particular area based on the data collected. In the current era, data from control areas are collected in two weeks. Amit Shah asked the Chief Ministers to use their power as soon as possible to achieve all the three targets.
This meeting has taken place at a time when the number of corona patients in India has exceeded 90 lakhs. So far, 13.36 crore samples have been tested in the country, including 10,99,545 tests of corona virus in a day and the daily infection rate has also come down to less than four percent.
