New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is all set to embark on a two-day visit to Gujarat, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh starting from tomorrow, June 10.
During the visit, Amit Shah will attend various political events and public rallies during his visit to the 4 states. The Minister will leave for Gujarat by late Friday and return back to New Delhi by June 11 night.
The Union Minister is likely to be engaged in political meetings with party workers in Gujarat's Ahmedabad in the first half of the day on Saturday.
He will then leave for Nanded in Maharashtra where he is reported to speak in the first rally under BJPs special month-long campaign in Nanded city.
To commemorate the end of the nine-year term of the Modi government, the party is running a month-long campaign in every Lok Sabha constituency. As per reports, the minister will speak at the rally in Nanded, the second-largest city in the Marathwada region, which is one of the holiest Sikh pilgrimage sites because Guru Gobind Singh spent his final days there and transferred his guruship to Guru Granth Sahib before his passing. He is also going to meet with the members of the Nanded Gurdwara Committee.
On June 11, the Home Minister will meet with party members in Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, after arriving there by the end of Saturday. He will also speak at a rally in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, to showcase the accomplishments of the nine-year BJP-led central administration presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The rally is one of 66 public gatherings the Tamil Nadu BJP plans to organise in a month to promote the accomplishments of the BJP government. In Tamil Nadu, a number of national leaders would deliver speeches at public events. Jitendra Singh, a minister of state for personnel and the PMO, spoke last week on the 'achievements' of the BJP government in Chennai.
As part of the nationwide celebrations being held in every Parliamentary constituency on the occasion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi finishing nine years in office, the Home Minister will also arrive in Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh on June 11 and address a public gathering there in the evening.
