New Delhi: The Modi government at the central is going to present the report in Rajya Sabha on President's rule in Maharashtra today. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will report in the Upper House related to President's rule. In the event of any party not being able to form a government in Maharashtra, Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari recommended President's rule, after which President Ram Nath Kovind's approval imposed President's rule.

It is noteworthy that doubts about the formation of government in Maharashtra do not seem to be over. The meeting of Congress and NCP was postponed on Tuesday. Now, this meeting has been held today i.e. on Wednesday. Earlier, NCP chief Sharad Pawar said that those who want to form the government should ask questions. Responding to Sharad Pawar's statement, Shiv Sena Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut said that to understand what Pawar says, one has to take 100 times of birth. There is no need to worry about Pawar and our alliance.

BJP and Shiv Sena had fought the Maharashtra Assembly elections in an alliance, while the Congress-NCP fought this election in a separate alliance. BJP emerged as the single largest party by winning 105 seats in the 288-member assembly, while the Shiv Sena won 56 seats.
