Chennai: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reached Chennai. Indeed, he is about to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects in Tamil Nadu. After the success in the Telangana by-election, the BJP is engaged in Tamil Nadu polls.

Home Minister Amit Shah is on a tour of Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu, from today and during this time he will deliver projects worth more than 67 thousand crores. It is being told that during this visit, he will meet local leaders of Tamil Nadu to discuss preparations for the upcoming assembly elections. Apart from this, Home Minister Amit Shah is also going to lay the foundation stone for the second phase of Chennai Metro Rail and its estimated cost is said to be Rs 61,843 crore. According to the information received, Chief Minister Palaniswami is also going to participate in this program.

He will also inaugurate the Theravoy Kandigai reservoir at Thiruvallur at a cost of Rs 380 crore and he will also lay the foundation stone for the expressway project at Coimbatore at a cost of Rs 1,620 crore.
