Srinagar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has announced ST reservation for the people of the Pahari community of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has ordered to work on the recommendations of the Justice Sharma Commission and as soon as the process is completed, the people of the Pahari community will start getting the benefits of reservation.

Amit Shah further said that Gujjars, Bakarwals and Pahari community people have to get this reservation. The Home Minister said that this has been possible after the removal of Article 370. Amit Shah's announcement related to reservation is considered important and the BJP can benefit from it in the coming elections. Addressing the rally, the Home Minister said that earlier only three families were in power in Jammu and Kashmir. They used to say that if Article 370 is removed, rivers of blood will flow, but nothing like this has happened. Today, Modi-Modi slogans are being raised here.

Amit Shah said that these slogans are the answer to all such apprehensions. There have been 721 incidents of terrorism in the last three years since the abrogation of Article 370. In the previous three years, the number of terrorist attacks was more than 4,000. PM Narendra Modi had launched an operation against terrorists, this is the result of that.
