Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary Bollywood actor, marks 55 years in the film industry, celebrating his journey through the "wondrous world of cinema."

Bachchan began his illustrious career in 1969 with the release of Saat Hindustani, where his portrayal of Anwar Ali earned him a nomination for the National Film Award for Best Newcomer.

Embracing modern technology, Big B recently shared his artificial intelligence avatar on social media, depicting himself with a camera lens as an eye and film reels emerging from his head.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) on February 17, he expressed, "55 years in the wondrous world of Cinema... and AI gives me its interpretation... a presentation by Ef B... self-made."

In addition to his debut, Bachchan lent his voice to the character of Bhuvan Shome in the 1969 film of the same name, directed by Mrinal Sen.

His breakthrough came with the 1971 movie Anand, where he played a supporting role alongside Rajesh Khanna. However, it was his role as Inspector Vijay Khanna in Zanjeer (1973) that propelled him to stardom, earning him a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Actor.

Over the years, Bachchan emerged as the iconic "Angry Young Man" of Hindi cinema, starring in memorable films like Deewaar, Sholay, Kabhi Kabhie, Amar Akbar Anthony, and Muqaddar Ka Sikandar.

Bachchan's box office success peaked in the last decade of his career. Among his highest-grossing movies are Brahmastra (Rs. 430 crore), Thugs Of Hindostan (Rs. 327.51 crore), Badla (Rs. 140.47 crore), Piku (Rs. 141.3 crore), and Pink (Rs. 104.3 crore).
