This photo is from the premiere of the film Sholay in Minerva. Amitabh's mother, father and wife Jaya are present in this photo. Amitabh has mentioned another special thing besides the photo, in which he remembered the moments spent with Vinod Khanna. He wrote- "On 15 August 1975 at the premiere of Sholay in Minerva ... I, along with Maa, Babuji, Jaya and Bow-Tie." Jaya is looking so cute ... it was a 35 mm print, a 70 mm stereo sound print ... for the first time someone was stuck in customs (tax) in India but when the premiere was over at midnight we came to know that 70 mm Print was out of customs. We told Ramesh Sippy. It was the first film to appear in 70 mm stereo. I kept watching this film with Vinod Khanna in the balcony till 3 in the morning. ''
Amitabh often keeps sharing his old pictures, but Sholay is something else. Even in this old photo, even though he is seen with the family, he has attracted the attention of people towards Sholay, which was a great film.
