Uunchai, written and directed by Sooraj Barjatya, is a film starring Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Parineeti Chopra, Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta, Abhishek Singh Pathania, Sheen Dass, and Nafisa Ali. It was produced by Rajshri Productions in association with Boundless Media and Mahaveer Jain Films. The movie will be released in theatres on November 11 and centres on the relationship between senior citizens.

The movie also represents Sooraj Barjatya's return to directing following a seven-year absence. In 2015, he finished directing Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.
