His film is based on India's historic victory in the 1983 Cricket World Cup. Signing this film for Ammy is like a dream come true. The film is directed by Kabir Singh and Ammy plays the role of medium-pacer Balwinder Singh Sandhu in the film. Apart from '83', he will also be seen in another upcoming Hindi film 'Bhuj: The Pride of India'. This patriotic film is based on the background of the Indo-Pak war of 1971.
