A Lok Sabha candidate from Tamil Nadu has gone viral for filing his nomination in a ‘noteworthy’ fashion. Just when candidates are coming up with groundbreaking ways to campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, there is one nominee from Chennai who put up his nomination in a significant manner. Kuppalji Devadoss, an independent candidate from Amma Makkal National Party (AMNP) on Monday came with utensils of various shapes and sizes filled with currency coins totaling the Rs 25000 required as election security deposit.

Leaders of political parties are finding innovative ways to campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. However, some leaders are taking innovative campaigning to a new high with their unique ways. According to the new agency, the total amount of the deposit was made up of coins of Rs. 10, Rs. 5, Rs. 2 and Rs. 1 rupee denomination. He stored the coins in utensils of various shapes and sizes.

Contesting from South Chennai Lok Sabha seat, which is currently held by AIADMK's T Radhakrishnan, Devadoss arrived at South Chennai zonal office with the 13 vessels filled with coins that he submitted along with his nomination. Tamil Nadu will go to polls on April 18 for its 39 parliamentary constituencies, while counting of votes will take place on May 23.
