Greaves Cotton is one of the leading engineering companies in India, has launched its new high-speed electric scooter, named Ampere Zeal. A subsidy of Rs 18,000 is being given under the government's FAME-II scheme on this new electric scooter. Fame India (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles) is an incentive scheme for promoting electric and hybrid vehicles in the country. Ampere's electric vehicles are coming with 1 to 3 years warranty and strong after-sales service network. After the subsidy, the price of Rs 66,950 (X showroom) Ampere Zeal has been kept.

According to the company electric scooters, Ampere offers to save in overall scooter cost in its life cycle. Potential electric two-wheeler customers can avail the benefits offered by Greaves from affordable and accessible finance schemes in partnership with some of the major auto financiers in India.

For the information received,must tell that 1200 watt and a 60V / 30Ah battery is provided with the supported BLDC hub motor in Ampere Zeal. The weight of this electric scooter is 78 kg and its maximum speed is 55 kmph, which, once full charge, is capable of traveling 75 km. It takes 5 to 6 hours for its battery to be fully charged. Ampere Zeal features body graphics, LED headlights, dual speed motor (economy and power) with attractive styling and 0 to 50 kmph in 14 seconds. Zeal 5 will be available to customers in high gloss color option.
