NEW DELHI: An Amritsar-bound Vistara flight was forced to make an emergency landing at Indira Gandhi International Airport on Thursday morning due to a technical issue.

When the flight from Indira Gandhi International Airport to Amritsar took off, there were 146 passengers on board. The emergency siren was sounded on runway 28 of Terminal 2.

The pilot noticed the snag shortly after takeoff and quickly alerted the airport administration. An emergency alarm was raised, and organisations such as the police and fire department were summoned.At 10.15 a.m., a senior police official stated, they received a call about the emergency landing.

He went on to say that no one was wounded in the incident. The fire service received a call, and six fire engines were dispatched to the IGI. More Details are still awaited,
