New Delhi: There is no decrease in the increasing incidence of rape in the country. Even the incidents of rape have increased greatly in the railway premises and on the moving train. Surprising reports have come out about the Indian Railways, in which it has been revealed that between 2017 and 2019, there have been more than 160 cases of rape in railway premises and moving trains.

In response to an RTI, it has come to light that in the last 3 years more than 160 incidents of misdeeds have been reported in the premises and moving trains of Indian Railways. However, compared to 2017, there has definitely been a decrease in the incidence of rape in 2019. Where 51 cases related to rape were reported in 2017, it reduced to 44 in 2019. However, in 2018, this number had increased to 70. An answer in this regard was sought by Neemuch's RTI activist Chandrashekhar Gaur.
