Bhopal: Late Sunday evening, President Ram Nath Kovind has given additional charge of Madhya Pradesh to Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel. This decision has been taken due to deteriorating health of Madhya Pradesh Governor Lalji Tandon. Governor Lalji has been admitted to the hospital in Lucknow for some time. However, now his health is constantly improving.

Raj Bhavan has issued a statement in this regard and said that Dr. Lalji Tandon is being treated in Lucknow. This time, he says that his diabetes has come under control. The condition of kidney, liver and heart has improved. He will soon be able to handle his workload. Till then Patel has been given additional charge of Madhya Pradesh.

It is known that Anandi Ben has also been the Governor of Madhya Pradesh earlier. It is worth mentioning that the expansion of Shivraj cabinet in Madhya Pradesh is going to happen soon. In such a situation, now Anandi Ben Patel is going to administer the oath to the new ministers.
