Kolkata: The results of assembly elections held in four states and one Union Territory on May 2, 2021 were out. The TMC in West Bengal, the BJP in Assam and the Left Front in Kerala have managed to save power. In Puducherry, NDA got a chance while Tamil Nadu DMK has won. But in all these elections, the most talked about trinamool Congress (TMC) victory in Bengal. But, there are some messages hidden in the mandate of Bengal, which say that even though the LEFT has won in Kerala this time, which is considered to be the fort of the Left, this time lotus is feeding.

In fact, BJP candidate from Matigara-Naxalbari seat Anandmay Burman has registered a record victory. A total of six candidates from this seat had tried their luck in the electoral battle. This time, the seat came under the congress fold from the CPIM-Congress and ISF alliance.  The Congress once again fielded its sitting MLA Shankar Malakar from the seat but lost. Bjp's Anand Burman defeated TMC's Rajne Sundas by 70848 votes.

Tell us that Matigara-Naxalbari assembly seat falls under Darjeeling district of West Bengal. The seat was first elected to the Assembly in 2011. In which Hybrid Malakar was elected for the first time on a Congress ticket. He was elected MLA for the second time in the 2016 assembly elections and defeated Amar Sinha of TMC by a margin of 18627 votes.
