Ujjain: During an ongoing excavation for expansion in the temple complex of Baba Mahakal in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, an ancient wall of stones was found about 20 feet below on Friday. The stones are carved in ancient times after which, the excavation work has been stopped. In addition to this, the information has been given to the temple administration.

It is being told that through this wall, new information can be revealed about the history of Ujjain. In fact, today on Friday, excavation work was being done on the ride route behind the Sati Mata temple for the expansion of the temple. Meanwhile, a stone wall has been found in the excavation. After this, the work was stopped. Pandit Anand Shankar Vyas, the astrologer of the temple, informed the media that the temple was destroyed during the Mughal period.

He said that the temple was rebuilt during the time of the Maratha rulers. When the temple was demolished, the oldest part of the temple must have been pressing. He said that the archaeology department should do excavations around the temple. The archaeological department should get information about what period of the relic is, what crafts are on the stones.
