Ayushmann Khurrana starrer AndhaDhun has done a great business in India and now it is performing phenomenally well at the Chinese box-office. On Wednesday, the crime thriller added $ 1.49 million more to its account to reach a fantastic total of $ 18.19 million after an eight-day run in the country. In Indian currency, the figure is equivalent to Rs 125.39 crore.

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh, in a tweet posted on Thursday afternoon, summed up the business ofAndhaDhun in the East Asian country. His tweet read, “#AndhaDhun has connected with the local audiences in #China... Continues to sparkle at the BO... Note this: Wed biz higher than Mon and Tue biz... Solid trending... Mon $ 1.46 mn, Tue $ 1.42 mn, Wed $ 1.49 mn. Total: $ 18.19 mn [₹ 125.39 cr].”

Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the film bagged five trophies at the Filmfare Awards 2019. AndhaDhun, that was lauded by film critics upon its release on home turf in October last year, tells the story of a piano player who gets embroiled in the murder of a yesteryear movie star.Film also stars  Tabu and Radhika Apte in the lead roles, has a solid trending in China and the fact that its Wednesday earning is more than that of Monday and Tuesday is enough to prove that.
