Ayushmann Khurrana, Tabu and Radhika Apte starrer AndhaDhun is having a blockbuster run in China. The crime thriller, on its second Wednesday in the East Asian country, minted $ 1.28 million. After a 15-day run, its total collection has reached $ 34.20 million which is equivalent to Rs 237.42 crore.With this development, AndhaDhun has defeated the Irrfan Khan-starrer Hindi Medium (over Rs 223 crore) to emerge the fourth highest grossing Indian film of all time in China.

Noted Film critic and business analyst Taran Adarsh, in a tweet posted on Thursday, noted that the film was witnessing “excellent trending on weekdays” and that it will “comfortably” go past the $ 40 million-mark over its third weekend. He also summed up the film’s business. He wrote, “#AndhaDhun continues its Blockbuster run in #China... Excellent trending on weekdays... Will comfortably cross $ 40 mn in Weekend 3... [Week 2] Mon $ 1.47 mn, Tue $ 1.38 mn, Wed $ 1.28 mn. Total: $ 34.20 mn [₹ 237.42 cr].”

With this collection, film now behind only Dangal (2016), Secret Superstar (2017) and Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015).

In China, it has been released with the title ‘Piano Player.’ In India AndhaDhun had turned out to be a surprise hit. At the Indian box-office, the film went on to fetch around Rs 75 crore to be termed a super hit.
