Vizianagaram: On Monday, a major accident has occurred in Vizianagaram of Andhra Pradesh. A car loaded with 16 people overturned. All these people were going back to their home after attending a wedding. The accident happened due to sudden brake at the turn. No one has been injured much in the accident. Some children have got injured in this.
The police have also said that "A car carrying 16 people overturned at Erranguri Junction in Garugubili Mandal of Vizianagaram at around 4 pm on Monday evening. The vehicle consisted of seven children and nine elders. No casualty or serious injury has been reported in the accident. The passengers have suffered minor injuries and they have been admitted to the hospital in Parvatipuram area".
Everyone has been discharged after getting first aid. Garugubili ASI M Rambabu said in a conversation with a news portal "Accident occurred due to sudden brake at the turn". He also said, "The road was wet due to rain. The passengers were returning from Hindupuram village in Parvatipuram Mandal to Ravipalli village in Garugubili Mandal. A case has been registered under section 337 of the Indian Penal Code."
