Dumka: Recently, the police of Mufassil police station have arrested an accused. This accused was reported on June 27 in a case of robbery of Rs 20 lakh from a fisherman from Andhra Pradesh. Its name is Saddam Ansari who was caught on Tuesday night. Police say that 2.26 lakh rupees have been received from him. According to the police, he was about to run away with the loot. Police have said that Saddam Giridih, who was arrested, lives in Letawatand in Tartand and four people have already been arrested in this case.
The police is still looking for the three accused. On Wednesday, Superintendent of Police Ambar Lakra said, "after the arrest of four on Monday, there was a search for the mastermind". He said that he received information about this late in the evening. He came to know that 'Saddam Ansari is standing near Gujisimal village with Rs 2.26 lakhs he got in the loot. After which he was arrested. In this case, during interrogation, he has admitted that he had told Imamuddin Ansari that 'the businessman has reached Puranya Transport with Rs 20 lakh. Where he is going to Andhra Pradesh by loading corn in his truck and driving.'
After this, Imamuddin was taken to Dalkhola in West Bengal and identified the truck driver cum fish businessman and his truck. Imamuddin along with other gang members robbed the businessman on reaching Dumka. The share of the loot was found to be 2.50 lakh rupees. In which he has spent 24 thousand expenses. In this case, the SP also told that the gang members also have links with the criminals of Bengal and Bihar and the arrested criminals had taken a mobile SIM from Bengal, giving the wrong address, putting the other's photo.
