Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Adimalapu Suresh has told that the state government is thinking about reopening schools by the end of August. He has announced a project for renovation of all government schools. Regarding the government's plan for the renovation of government schools, he has said that, 'The plan is to change the infrastructure of government schools to make them like corporate schools. Under this, about 45,000 schools will be renovated.

The minister has said that the focus will be on nine issues like electricity, toilet construction, water, furniture change. He said that this plan was micro-planned by CM Jagan Reddy and we are spending about Rs 3,700 crore for these schools. He said that 'one third of our work has been completed and the remaining work of 15,715 schools will also be completed by the end of July. So far, 510 crores have been spent in this work, which you can see online. '

He said, 'We have designed an online application and also an STMS portal which shows the information of all the works that have been done, which are in progress, and which are planned to be done, and which are completed About to happen. This whole process is very transparent and we are monitoring it.
