During the nationwide lockdown, the Andhra Pradesh government is supplying essential items to the migrants living in the shelter home. Due to the lockdown of 21 days, many people have been kept in various shelter homes in the state. State officials are providing other essential items like clothes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, blankets and the like besides transporting food and water.

According to data from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare regarding this case, the number of coronavirus infections in Andhra Pradesh has increased to 131 in the last 12 hours, while a total of 1965 cases have been confirmed across the country so far. Out of these 1764 are undergoing treatment, 151 people have been cured, while 50 people have been discharged from the hospital and 50 have died here.

In view of the increasing corona virus cases and ongoing lockdown in the country, RSS workers are busy serving food to the poor needy and homeless people. RSS workers from Bandhapalli village in Gajapati Nagaram mandal of Vizianagaram district are providing food to the poor needy and homeless who are wandering the streets at the local government hospital. The RSS team said that they would provide food to at least 100 people in a day till the lockout continues.
