The journey to get to where I am was not easy for me, so my appreciation for him was a preview that I am in the right direction. We were looking for a perfect opportunity to work together again. 'The Kargil Girl' is completely a perfect film."

Talking about his character Angad said, "My character is extraordinary in the film and I hope that people love it as much as we did while making it. 'The Kargil Girl' is a film on Indian Air Force fighter pilot Gunjan Saxena. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor will play the role of Gunjan, who entered the war zone in 1999 during the Kargil war. Directed by Sharan Sharma, the film is slated to release on 13 March.
