With just 2 days left to complete 30 years of the release of "Parinda", the writer-director is sharing the video, remembering the struggling days of his iconic hit Parinda, released 30 years ago. The director once again has released a video filmed on Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit in which both are dancing to a romantic song from the film.

The video shows how such romantic scenes used to be very rare in the olden days and how the directors had to go through a struggle to capture a particular scene in one shot.
Director Vidhu Vinod Chopra has shared the video on his social media and writes, "While romantic scenes are common in Bollywood today, such scenes were very few 30 years ago. Talking about the song, director Vidhu Vinod Chopra says, "In those days, when Hindi songs were shot at sunset, sometimes the sun was up or down or sometimes cloudy in between, I hated it. My idea was to shoot this entire song in just one sunset. If you observe the time of sunset or sunset, you will see that we have only 3 or 3.30 minutes left. It was shot in 6-7 minutes to complete the song really. "
Discussing the scene in more detail, he says, "During this time there was a scene in which Madhuri Dixit had to kiss Anil for whom she was hesitating and we had very little time. Then I told her to go run away and then she comes running to me and says no sir I will do it. So I said if I finally get the time then I will shoot that shot again and then I shouted that you're not Madhuri. You are Paro. Your mother is not here and you do not have family here and your brother is dead and you needed time to think of them to do so she plays. "
Vidhu Vinod Chopra's upcoming film "Shikara" is set for release in 2019.
