Mumbai: Home Minister Anil Deshmukh is in the headlines in the Maharashtra government these days. In fact, he is currently reacting to the allegations against himself. He is looking to say something every day. Recently, he has written a letter to the state Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray demanding an inquiry into the matter. In fact, in a letter to Uddhav Thackeray, he has referred to the allegations made by Param Bir Singh and wrote, "If the Chief Minister orders an inquiry on the allegations leveled against me, I will welcome it, Satyamenev Jayate."

On the same issue, Anil Deshmukh tweeted from his official Twitter handle and wrote, "I am demanding from the chief minister to inquire the allegations made by Param Bir Singh so that the truth can come out. If the Chief Minister orders an inquiry, I will welcome it." You will all know that in the past, former Mumbai police commissioner Param Bir Singh, while writing a letter to Uddhav Thackeray, had accused Anil Deshmukh of saying, "He had given a target of levying Rs. 100 crores.''

In fact, Param Bir Singh wrote in his letter in the past, "Sachin Vaze was invited by Anil Deshmukh at his residence, where he targeted that Rs. 100 crores should be collected from Mumbai bars, pubs, restaurants, hotels. Param Bir Singh also filed a petition in the Supreme Court in the past to inquire into the same case, but the Supreme Court refused to hear it and advised him to go to the Mumbai High Court.
