Veteran Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor has opened up about being replaced in the upcoming sequels of 'Welcome' and 'No Entry', expressing optimism that such transitions can lead to new and exciting opportunities in one's career. Kapoor shared his perspective in a recent interview, viewing these changes as potentially beneficial steps forward.
Addressing rumors of strained relations with his producer-brother Boney Kapoor, particularly regarding the 'No Entry' sequel, Anil Kapoor emphasized the importance of maintaining privacy when it comes to family matters. "Dignity lies in handling these issues privately," he stated, opting not to publicly comment on any alleged disagreements.
In the upcoming 'No Entry' sequel, the lead roles are expected to be portrayed by Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Arjun Kapoor, while the 'Welcome' series will introduce a new installment titled 'Welcome to the Jungle'. Despite these casting changes, Anil Kapoor remains a prominent figure in Bollywood, currently engaged as the host for 'Bigg Boss OTT 3', scheduled to stream on JioCinema.
In an interview, Anil Kapoor was asked about his thoughts on 'No Entry 2'. He responded, "It's a family matter, let it stay within the family. What's there to discuss?"
Earlier reports suggested that Anil was displeased about being replaced in the sequel. Responding to claims made by Boney Kapoor, Anil said, "Look, why discuss family matters? Besides, he (Boney) is never wrong."
The issue first surfaced in March when Boney Kapoor told Zoom that Anil was not interacting with him properly due to his dissatisfaction with being replaced in the sequel. The upcoming film will now feature Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Arjun Kapoor, with Anees Bazmee returning as director. 'No Entry 2' is scheduled to start filming in December.
