New Delhi: The Delhi Police have arrested five persons in connection with the death of Anjali Singh in a road accident in the national capital. At the same time, Anjali's friend, who was present at the time of the incident, also told many such things which were very shocking. Anjali's friend Nidhi said- She did not know Anjali earlier. They became friends 10 to 15 days ago through another friend. There was good bonding between the two, so when Anjali talked about the party on New Year, she could not refuse. They arrived at the hotel at 8 p.m. Anjali had friends there, including her boyfriend. Nidhi said that she did not know anyone except Anjali at the party.
In the meantime, she came out to get some stuff. When she returned to the hotel room, there was a fight between Anjali and her boyfriend over something. Nidhi said that seeing all this, she asked Anjali to leave the place. Anjali also said that she too has to go home. Then they left the hotel at 2 o'clock. Nidhi said, ''When we came out after the party, I felt that Anjali might not be in a condition to ride a scooty. That's why I told her that I will drive the scooty, and you sit back. Still, Anjali did not agree and started fighting with me. She told me that I will drop you home safely. Then as soon as we were traveling in scooty, Anjali was very angry about something. Meanwhile, a truck came in front of us. We narrowly escaped that time. I immediately asked her to stop the scooty and took out the key. Even then she did not agree and said that now I will drive the scooty properly.
Anjali's friend said, ''As soon as we reached ahead, a car hit us. I fell next to the scooty. Whereas, Anjali gets entangled under the car. Anjali then screamed a lot and started crying too. But she could not get up because her feet were stuck in the car. Nor did those drivers stop the car. They dragged her forward. I was very nervous at that time. So I went straight home from there on foot. Because my house was very close from there. There I told the whole incident to my mother and grandmother. Nidhi told that the boys deliberately dragged the girl from the car. They knew that the girl was trapped in the car. Still, they did not stop the car. I was so nervous about this accident that I could not understand what to do and what not. Then after two days when the police reached me, I told them the whole incident. Anjali's friend told that she too got hurt in the incident. She suffered injuries on her eye and leg. Whereas, her hand also got fractured in this accident. Nidhi said that Anjali would have also been saved if the driver had stopped the car. But he deliberately did not stop the car. Nidhi said that she did not know those boys, Nor did she ever see them. The same case is being continuously investigated by the police.
