Renowned Malayalam directors N Sheetal and Shine Tom Chacko will once again collaborate on the entertainment of Antony Varghese's upcoming campus titled Aaravam. Along with this, N. Sheetal will play the role of a college student in the film directed by debutant Hridaynath. Along with this, "his character is a romantic pairing of Antony Varghese." The film is set against the backdrop of a campus located in a village and revolves around a rivalry between two gangs. While there is romance in the film, the focus is on situations arising on campus. The filmmaker says that the rivalry between the gang has been going on for years and the way N's character is dragged out makes a plot.

On the other hand, Shine Tom Chacko also plays an important role in the film written by Anil Narayanan. Nihas says, "He and Antony play brothers and their bond is an important part of the film." On how Antony's character compares to his past ventures, the filmmaker says, "They have a ' Mass' is the avatar and they have to do a lot of action. But what makes this character different is not to play the role of a romantic hero who tries to seduce a girl. Meanwhile, Arvam is first announced as the title of a Tovino Thomas-starrer. 

At the moment, Nihas clarifies that "the two films are different, we have only borrowed the title". “Our film is called Aaravam because the entire film has a festive mood and the story also has a great connection to Onam. It is an all-out commercial film, ”he explains. The team has shot in Irtupetta and the next film will be at Government Victoria College, Palakkad. Apart from this, Renji Paniker, Ronnie David, Srijit Ravi and Jafar Idukki are also part of the cast.
