Known as Thalaiva of Tollywood, Rajnikanth has carved a niche for himself in the industry. The older Rajinikanth gets, the more significant his stardom becomes and his movies always have given a feeling larger than life mostly due to his tremendous fan base and charismatic screen appearance.  Another such film is Rajinikanth’s upcoming star-studded film Annaatthe. The film is one of the most-awaited and anticipated films in Tamil and Telugu. The team of the film has started shooting since December 2019 and was supposed to wrap up the shoot in April. However, due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, the production work went on to a halt.

The latest update about the film as per a close source says that the team of Annaatthe has decided to resume the shoot from November. About the film, Nayanthara and Keerthy Suresh will resume shooting from November while Rajinikanth will join the sets in December. Sources were also quoted saying that the team is currently busy organizing a huge set in the outskirts of Chennai.

Annaatthe was initially cataloged to hit the screens on Diwali 2020.  Now, things got delayed due to the COVID-19 crisis. Now, the makers are preparing to complete the shooting of the film by early next year as they might release the film in summer 2021. Annaatthe is directed by Siruthai Siva and stars many popular actors including Khushbu, Nayanthara, Meena, Keerthy Suresh, Prakash Raj and Soori in important roles.
